Meharoona Ghani shares her story... I recently was gifted an Alinker - a walking bike through a crowd-funding campaign. The next step was to put it together! I put a call out to friends asking if anyone knew a bike shop or had friends who knew about bikes. I was referred to The Pedaler at 321 Belleville St in Victoria BC.
The owners, Charles and Leslie, are friends of a friend. As it turns out, I actually knew Leslie from my days working in the B.C. Provincial Government and we were now reintroduced 17 years later. How amazing! I went to their shop, The Pedaler. Not only did they help put the Alinker together, they also coached me on how to put it together by myself. Then, I practiced walking around The Pedaler property. After they made a few more adjustments with handlebars and seat, I was set! I felt so empowered.
I also watched their interaction with customers who came and went over the five hours I was there. Charles and Leslie were so kind and welcoming to everyone.
I received #Radicalgenerosity, #Love and #Kindness from Charles and Leslie who were so giving of their expertise and knowledge in kindness to support and empower me with the Alinker. Thank you The Pedaler.
