On a walk the other day, I looked up and noticed a sign in the window of an apartment building: "Be kind to one another".
I've been seeing similar beacons of light around the neighbourhood. There is a heart-shaped string of lights in a window opposite me, twinkling multicoloured lights coming from other windows.
They all combine to create a sense of hope in what has been a dark time. The more acts of kindness, the more light can shine out.
